Simulating the Dynamics of a Bell Tower

The model shown hereafter is the time-domain animation of a bell tower response to bell-excitation. The foundation stiffness was tuned using FEMtools Model Updating. The time-dependent shape contributions and non-linear pendulum movement of the bells were calculated separately with MathCAD and then imported to FEMtools.
